Requirements

To join and remain in the guild, you need only meet two requirements:

Just be active
Follow all rules.

Having a Discord account, and willing to join the Discord server, will be beneficial because that is where all announcements and other important things will be. This is, however, not required.

Requesting to join

Requesting to join is very simple. On Hypixel, simply type the command /g join HypeWaffles and you will send a request to join. Any online member will be able to accept it. If nobody is accepting, everyone may be offline or AFK. In that case, you may submit a request to join through a Google Form, which will be seen within 24 hours.

First, you must allow everyone to send you guild invites. To see how to do this, click here. Next, send in a join request using the button below. No information is harvested beyond what you put there. All you need to do is put in your IGN. That's it. Your request will be seen within 24 hours and you will be sent an invite to join the guild, that you will see the next time you log on. If you're in another guild, you will not be able to join ours, and we won't be able to invite you. When we invite you to the guild, you'll see it as a message in chat whenever you log back onto Hypixel, or right away if you're already online.

You may also submit a request to join by joining the Discord server and specifying your IGN and the fact that you'd like to join when prompted on the initial join application. It would also be helpful if you put in your Discord username into your Hypixel socials, as this will help with security.

The Inactivity Purge

The Inactivity Purge is an occasional event that takes place at random times. Its purpose is to cleanse the guild of inactive members to make room for more active members. If a person with the Active rank has less than 10,000 GEXP, he will be demoted to Member. If a member has been offline for over 30 days, he will be kicked from the guild, unless he has a good reason for going inactive, with which he has enlightened the Guild Master or Admins. Only those that have the Elite rank or higher are immune to the Purge. This only ever happens if there is little to no space left in the guild for new members.

Discord

The guild Discord server is a Discord server exclusive to guild members. If a member were to leave the guild, he could no longer remain in the server.

The server allows for easy communication between members of the guild, and on it we host occasional giveaways and events, and most importantly, it's where the Administrator Applications are held. Perhaps one day the server will be made public, but that day is not planned and is likely to never come.

You may join the server by clicking the link on the navigation bar or in the Contact Information page, but you will need to fill out a form stating your IGN so that we can make sure only guild members actually join. Alternatively, you may may join the server by using the command /g discord whilst on Hypixel. Doing this will give you a different invite link that will bypass the aforementioned verification.

Punishments

The HypeWaffles guild has multiple different punishments to offer for rule breakers. In-game punishments only include mutes of up to 30 days (due to Hypixel's limited guild moderation system) and kicks. One could also be demoted if they abuse their rank's powers. These punishments cannot be appealed. Discord punishments have more variety. One can be warned several times before being muted for a certain period of time. The third mute will be permanent. One could also be banned from the Discord server if they make a very serious violation, such as breaking the Discord ToS or violates the rules most seriously, and more. One could also be kicked, but that only ever happens when they either leave or are kicked from the guild. Discord punishments are appealable.

Guild Master [GM]

The Guild Master rank is given to the one and only thewaffler_, for he is the creator and current Guild Master of the HypeWaffles guild. Nobody but him may have this rank, unless the guild's ownership changes hands.

Administrator [Admin]

The Guild Administrator rank is given to a few select individuals by the Guild Master and grants the holder nearly every permission in the guild. It is rather difficult to get this rank, for it can only be obtained by being a good Trial Administrator for 6 months. Or by wiring thewaffler_ US$8,000.00 to his bank account or PayPal (preferably the former).

Trial Administrator [TAdmin]

Trial Administrators are people that have been accepted by applying for the Administrator position. Applications for this rank have been held several times. They are held once a year on January 1st, and are kept open for one month until February 1st. Note: Administrator applications are currently indefinitely suspended due to the inactivity of the guild.

This rank is the step between being a member of the guild and becoming a Guild Administrator. Those who prove their worth after serving as TAdmin for 6 months will be promoted to Guild Admin, and those who will not will be demoted to their previous rank. It offers some mild moderating features and access to Officer chat in game and #admin-chat in the Discord server.

Elite [Elite]

The rank given to the Elite members of the Guild, which includes Discord Server Boosters, very good friends of the Administrators, and others that may be deemed worthy. This is not an easy rank to get. It offers the same permissions as the Active rank on Hypixel, and the same permissions as the Legendary Server Booster role on the Discord server. So basically, every permission that one may have, besides permissions exclusive to Administrators, this rank will grant.

Active [Active]

A rank available to all guild members. To get it you must be very active, earning at least 75,000 Guild EXP per week. To get it, you must contact the Guild Master, an Administrator or a Trial Administrator. They will check if you have earned enough GEXP in the past 7 days and will promote you if you do. But it will be best if you do not bother the Admins with this and check if you have enough GEXP beforehand by doing /g member [your IGN] in game.

The Active rank perks are not much, but they are something. Active members will have to power to do /g party, which invites every online guild member to their party. They also get the Active rank on the Discord server if they link their Hypixel profile to a bot.

Occasionally, the Inactivity Purge takes place and everyone who has the Active rank but has fallen inactive will be demoted to Member, and all who have been offline for over 30 days will be kicked.

Member [Waffle]

By far the oldest rank, and the rank which most of the guild members have. This is the default rank of the guild and it is what everyone starts with. It offers minimal permissions for a guild member.

— Deleted Ranks —

Discord Booster [Booster] - Deleted rank

Anyone that Nitro Boosts the Discord server will be promoted to this rank. Full details on Nitro Boosting perks may be found in the Discord Server. It was deleted when the only Nitro Booster has left the guild. It offered the same permissions as the Active rank. After this, when the server was Boosted again, it was decided that the Elite rank will be given to Boosters until their Boost expires.

Moderator [Mod] - Deleted rank

The Guild Moderators served the same purpose as the new Trial Administrators, except for the fact that applications were held twice and that the rank was deleted with the reason "The mods have fallen inactive and none of them have been promoted to Admin. I feel like there is no longer a need for Mods in the guild." The rank will most likely not be returning to the guild, with the Trial Administrator rank having taken its place.

Supa cool guy [cool guy] - Temporary joke rank, now deleted

This rank was given to a guild member that requested it as a joke. When he went offline, the rank was deleted and he was set back to the Active rank. It offered no special permissions.

Some dumbass noob kid [no0b] - Temporary joke rank, now deleted

This rank was given to another guild member after (again) he asked for it as a joke. It was removed shortly after and offered no special permissions.

very bad person [coward] - Temporary rank, now deleted

This rank was given to a guild member with the aim to shame them for refusing to play Tic-tac-toe with thewaffler_. It was removed shortly after. It offered the same permissions as the Member rank, with the exception of the View Stats permission, which this rank didn't have.

imbecile [fool] - Temporary joke rank, now deleted

This rank was created as a joke, and a Trial Administrator was demoted to it for several minutes. After this the rank was deleted and the Trial Admin got his rank back.
